Pebble Beach Car Show

Pebble Beach Car Show exhibits prewar and postwar along with the latest in concept car designs. It is one of the best events in the country. The Concours takes place in August in Pebble Beach, CA. The show lasts close to a week. However, the transactions go well over a month. These unique historical vehicles are one of kind in the world. You will only get to see cars with heritage and lots of history, and coupled with conceptual gems in the show.

Semi-permanent07 is in Sydney Australia this year. The excitement starts on March 30 and 31

This is an event where different design fields merge in order to exchange ideas, and exhibit their current work. The design fields that are covered range from Graphic Design, illustration, film making, photography, publishing, street art, visual effects, motion graphics, fine art, web design, broadcasting, advertising and more are, and have been, represented at Semi-Permanent.

This is a great place to mingle and meet young designers, students, and catch up with old friends.

Rodeo Drive Concours D’Elegance

This year on fathers’ day the annual car show on rodeo drive will continue as scheduled. You can check out all the european exotics and classics in this small, and cozy show. The show will be on Sunday June 17 2007 ~ admission is always complimentary. The Rodeo Drive is closed to traffic and this show displays around seventy five cars with occasional live entertainment

Concours D’Elegance Part Deux

Today you can enjoy all kinds of cars on Rodeo Drive… the show usually displays only european classics and exotics. If you are incline to check out muscle cars, and hot rods there is also a show in pomona.

We don’t think you will see any bling bling cars like this mercedes with diamonds. But you never know…

E3 expo

On July 11 2007 there is the E3 Media & Business Summit . This event is invitation only. But if you would like to check out what is in the agenda in video game industry this will be the event to be in. 3,000 and 4,000 of your close friends would be there in the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

Here is an update from the Car show on Rodeo Drive which was on fathers day. This year there were more cars that were used regularly on the road. Usually this show happens to have a lot of Ferrari exotics. However I have found two gems that belongs to Peterson auto museum.

Cadillac Ghia

The Cadillac Ghia was a joint effort between GM and post war Italian designers, such as Ghia and Pininfarina. American automakers wanted to create several concept and one-off vehicles, which includes this Cadillac Ghia. There were only prototypes were made.

This one was owned by actress, Rita Hayworth, which was given to her as a gift by her husband Prince Aly Khan. Now this car belongs to Petersen Automotive Museum.
